This special Huayra was designed for Horacio Pagani’s 70th birthday.

Everything is new except for the doors and window frames.

Pagani is trying to create a tradition that nobody complains about. When the company’s founder turned 60, the Italian manufacturer celebrated the special day with the crazy Zonda HP Barchetta. Ten years later, the new Huayra 70 Trionfo crowns another milestone in the life of Lamborghini’s former chief engineer.

Technically retired years ago and replaced by Utopia , the Huayra, in keeping with Pagani’s style, is once again serving as the basis for a very special vehicle. However, this time, only the doors and window frames have been retained compared to the standard car. The rest of the body has been completely redesigned.

The abandonment of the quad headlight design shifts the balance on the design side. The ultra-aggressive body kit
suggests that the 70 Trionfo was developed based on
the Huayra Roadster BC . This model featured a Mercedes-AMG twin-turbo
6.0-liter V12 engine delivering 800 hp and 1,050 Nm of torque.
A 7-speed automated manual transmission transferred the power to the rear wheels, and the entire package
was offered in a supercar weighing only
1,250 kg .

However, the owner of a Huayra 70 Trionfo says in an Instagram post that Pagani has taken things even further, and the AMG-branded engine now produces 845 hp . More importantly, all this power  is transmitted through a 7-speed manual transmission .

Pagani is not yet exhibiting the other two examples of the 70 Trionfo. Furthermore, it is unknown whether the vehicles were built from scratch or based on existing Huayra models. As a reminder of the brand’s fondness for “immortal” names, the Zonda, introduced last year with the Unico , proved its timelessness once again despite being 26 years old. Therefore, it’s certain we will see the Huayra in countless more special edition models.
